This was taken in Grand Cayman on Seven Mile Beach in 2020. I am constantly in awe of the ocean’s mystery and magnetism. It carries so much energy. On this day, it was dark and quiet, but not perfectly calm, as if something stirred beneath. The soft blacks and whites bring out the beauty in the simplicity of watching ripples on the surface of dark water.
